ADRIAN — The Lenawee Historical Society is highlighting a new local publication by one of its longtime museum volunteers.

Volunteer historian Paul Plassman has released his third book focused on historic architecture. His latest work documents historic homes throughout Adrian, building on two earlier books that examined notable buildings across Southeast Michigan and four counties in Northern Ohio.

The Historical Society noted that while other volunteers have spent years researching projects on Lenawee County rock and roll history and 19th-century churches, Plassman has completed three full publications during that time.

The new book adds to ongoing efforts by the Lenawee Historical Society to preserve and document the county’s architectural and cultural history.

Plassman is scheduled to speak about his latest book during a public event at the museum in February.

Details on the presentation, including the exact date and time, are expected to be announced by the Lenawee Historical Society in the coming weeks.
