ADRIAN — The Lenawee County Central Dispatch provided an operational update last week outlining staffing, technology upgrades, and system status at the county’s 911 center.
The update was presented to the Emergency Telephone District Board and covers activity since the last report.
Officials reported one dispatcher resignation in November, along with the onboarding of a new dispatcher. A Systems Specialist position has also been posted to support technical operations within the dispatch center.
Central Dispatch has received a new MEVO Anywhere Kit, designed to strengthen backup operations and improve system resilience during outages.
Radio coverage improvements are underway for the Blissfield Police Department, following recent firmware updates. Early feedback indicates modest improvements in in-building coverage, with additional updates pending state approval.
Officials also reported progress on a 2025 training fund application, which is expected to be submitted before the end of the month.
