ADRIAN — The Lenawee County Treasurer’s Office is offering a new option to help residents reduce fees when paying delinquent property taxes by credit card.
Taxpayers can now make credit card payments by phone or online through the BS&A payment system, which charges lower processing fees than in-person credit card payments at the Treasurer’s Office.
To pay by phone, residents can call 517-252-8972 and follow the prompts for the BS&A payment service. Online payments can be made through the BS&A online payment portal.
In-person payments are still accepted at the Treasurer’s Office. There are no processing fees for payments made with cash, cashier’s check, personal check, or money order. Officials note that personal checks may not be accepted during certain delinquent tax deadlines or if a previous check has been returned.
For additional details or questions, residents are encouraged to contact the Lenawee County Treasurer’s Office directly.
