Arthur Dan Gimm, passed away on December 14, 2025. Arthur was the beloved husband of Linda Gimm, with whom he shared 57 years of marriage. Together they built a life rooted in love, dedication, and family. He is survived by his children Dani Gimm-Bergh, and her children Adrian, Jessie, and Uriah; Liberty Irwin (Derek) and their children Hunter and Paige; and Aaron Gimm (Bethany) and their children Ethan and Asher. He is also survived by his sister, Susan Gimm. Arthur was preceded in death by his cherished daughter, Dawn Marie Gimm, whom he held forever in his heart. A proud United States Navy veteran, Arthur served his country honorably from May 12, 1967, to May 11, 1973. Following his military service, he dedicated his professional life to public service, retiring from the Michigan State Police after many years of commitment, serving from April 1975 to September 2002. Arthur will be remembered for his steadfast devotion to his family, his sense of duty, and the quiet strength with which he lived his life.
