Manith Armstrong, age 72, of Brooklyn, MI, peacefully entered eternal rest, December 15, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.  Manith was a loving husband to Barb, of 53 years, with whom he shared a rich, faith filled and deeply loving life.  He was an exceptional father of three children, Shannon Armstrong, Shawn Armstrong and Sharlene (Jason) Morey; he felt pure bliss with the presence of his grandchildren, Layken Morey, Nova Morey, Maniah Armstrong and Gunnar Armstrong; he was delighted to add his two great grandchildren, Annalee Lawson and Dominic Lawson; also surviving are two brothers, David Lee Marshall and Mandel Armstrong; one sister, Janet Stevens; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Ervin & Nellie (Fletcher) Armstrong; four brothers, AJ Marshall, Carl Ray Marshall, Edward C. Marshall and Earl Marshall; three sisters, Janice Karpo, Tena Smock and Sue Farren; beloved daughter in law, Cheri Armstrong; and granddaughter, Briana Hall.  Manith was one of eleven and the last baby to be born at home in Tecumseh, MI, on January 29, 1953.  He was an avid hunter and an exceptional provider for his wife and children.  At 16, he was set up on a blind date, where he met the love of his life, Barbara Steinaway.  Their 53 years of marriage is a profound reflection of their enduring love and devotion.  His life was enriched by Barb, whom gave him the gift of three wonderful children, that he patiently taught essential life skills for self reliance to survive without him.  Their journey took them across various states, adding unique chapters to their story.  Manith lived fully, loved fiercely and served faithfully.  He was so very loved, truly cherished and will be missed always.  Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, December 22, 2025, at Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N.
