GEORGE THEODORE JAMERSON, age 92 of Clayton, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Shelby Comfort Care in Shelby Township, MI. He was born on October 12, 1933, in Highland Park, the son of Daniel M. and Margaret A. (Joslyn)Jamerson.

George married Emma M. Marcoux on July 3, 1957, in Livonia. She preceded him in death on July 10, 2018. George was a letter carrier for the United States Post Office for over 40 years, retiring in 1990. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1951- 1953 during the Korean War. George was a member of the Berean Baptist Church and the Letters Carrier Union. He liked playing baseball, softball, football, and hiking in the Rocky Mountains, White Mountains in New Hampshire and the Smokey Mountains. George was an avid U of M sports fan of football, hockey and baseball.

George is survived by his three children, Michael (Barbara) Jamerson, Lori Terrill and Kathleen (Michael) Lyman, 9 grandchildren, and great grandchildren a sister, Priscilla Willoughby a niece, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and his brother, Roger Jamerson.

Funeral Services for George will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian with Pastor Doug Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Lenawee Hills Memorial Park, Adrian. Visitation will be on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 4-6:30 P.M. and on Saturday from 1-2:00 P.M. prior to the service.
