It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary Tkachuk, a beloved mother, partner, sister, and daughter, who left us on December 6, 2025. Born in April 1, 1983, Mary lived a life full of warmth and love, etching indelible memories into the hearts of those lucky enough to know her. She was predeceased by her mother, Magdalene (Ferrell) Tkachuk; her father, Troy Tkachuk; her brother, Andrew Tkachuk; and sister, Delora Joyce Maxson (Hall). Their spirits have undoubtedly welcomed Mary into her next journey, enveloping her in the boundless love they shared in life. Mary will be profoundly missed by many, including her fiancé, Alan Walters, who warmly cherished every moment they spent together. Her father, Paul Dahn; her sisters, Lisa and Janice Tkachuk and Mary Traxler; And her brothers, Eric Tkachuk, Phillip Tkachuk, Michael Dahn, and Ray Buckland, will remember and honor Mary’s generative, loving presence. Her beautiful legacy will also be continued through her children, Jeeps Grabitz, Ella Hoffer, Savannah Lewis, and Ammon Igafo-Te’o, whose lives were enriched with Mary’s intrinsic joy and unending love. Mary’s hugs, smiles, words, and deeds live on in them and all those whose lives she touched. Mary had a deep love for her community, often spending her free time at local destinations, such as the Pinckney Recreation Area. A true lover of nature, Mary sought solace and energy in hiking and walking. Yet, nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her family and friends, creating lasting memories, and leaving an impact that will be felt and remembered for generations to come. As we mourn the loss of Mary, let us also celebrate her life, cherishing the moments we shared with her and remembering the love she had for us all. Her memory will forever be kept close in our hearts. Funeral Services will be held 6:00 PM Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Rev.
