LENAWEE CO. — The Lenawee Community Foundation reports that this year’s Giving Tuesday campaign generated more than $10,700 in support for local programs, thanks to community donations and a $5,000 matching gift from American 1 Credit Union.
From November 19 through December 2, every contribution to Lenawee Cares — including funds raised through Bagging for a Difference — was doubled through the match initiative.
The foundation says the support is already helping residents through housing stability services, accessibility upgrades such as wheelchair ramps, and youth development programs offered through partner agencies.
The Lenawee Community Foundation connects donors with local causes focused on health, happiness, and hope.
