ADRIAN — The Holiday Light Parade and Comstock Christmas Riverwalk Tree Lighting take place Friday night in Adrian.
Parade line-up begins at 5 p.m. at the Lenawee County Judicial Building on North Main Street. The parade steps off at 6 and follows a new route this year, traveling through downtown on Main Street before returning to the Judicial Building using Winter Street.
The parade will not end at Comstock Park.
The Comstock Christmas Riverwalk tree lighting at Comstock Park is scheduled for 8 p.m. Entertainment on the park stage begins at 7:15, followed by brief comments from Mayor Heath. A countdown clock will be displayed on the stage leading into the lighting.
Santa will be in the gazebo beginning at 8 for photos and holiday greetings.
First Friday Winter Wonderland activities downtown start at 5 p.m. and include shopping and dining specials, holiday-themed events, and meet-and-greet opportunities with mini horses.
