ADRIAN — The Adrian City Commission will vote to approve an interim Parks and Recreation director and an acting Fire Chief at their regular meeting tonight.

This comes six weeks after the current Parks and Recreation Director, Jeremiah Davies, accepted an offer to become Hudson’s City Manager, and two weeks after Adrian Fire Chief Aric Massingill announced his retirement.

According to the meeting packet, Matthew Tomaszewski is set to be appointed as Interim Parks and Recreation director, and Captain Anthony AJ Armstrong is set to be appointed as Acting Fire Chief.

Commissioners will also host a presentation of the city’s yearly audit from accounting firm Clark, Schaefer and Hackett, discuss upgrades to their website, and review and Request for Proposal for the Planning and Zoning Administration.

A full meeting agenda is available to view at Adriancity.com.

The meeting will take place at the Adrian City Chambers at 159 East Maumee Street in Downtown Adrian.
