LEONARD DALE PARR, age 53 years of Hudson, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Henry Ford Hospital, Jackson. He was born on July 14, 1972, in Adrian, the son of Exel Ray and Lillian (Garrison) Parr.
Leonard graduated from Adrian High School in 1991. He married April L. Prestidge on May 13, 1995, in Hudson. She survives. Leonard worked at Martinrea in Jonesville as a welder for the last 15 years. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, building things and being a jokester. Sometimes it wasn’t always appropriate, but that’s why everyone loved who Leonard was. He also like being outdoors and volunteered as the assistant scoutmaster for Troup #602 of Hudson.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, April, their two children, Jon (Jeanette) Parr and Kathryn Rae Parr, mother-in-law, Roberta “Bobbi” Prestidge, brothers, Charles (Tricia) Parr and James Sanders, sisters, Kathy Smith and Barbara Howard, brother’s-in-law, James Prestidge and William (Samantha) Prestidge and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, Stephen Prestidge.
Funeral Services for Leonard will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at the Marry Funeral Home, Hudson. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Hudson. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, from 4-7:00 P.M.
