Lori Ann Lyon, age 59, of Adrian, MI, passed away at home on November 24, 2025, under the care of Arbor Hospice, and with her family at her side. She was born on November 1, 1966, in Lansing MI, the daughter of the late Robert Blascoe and Geraldine Croxton (Blattner) Blascoe. She was joined in marriage with Paul Raymond Lyon in Livonia, MI, on June 13, 1986, and they enjoyed over thirty-nine years together before her passing.
Lori served as an office manager at Carleton Equipment Company, Michigan’s largest Bobcat dealer. In her younger years, Lori enjoyed expressing her artistic side through creating drawings. Over the years one of her favorite things was accompanying her husband on their Lake Erie fishing trips. Her main focus though, was her grandchildren and spending as much time as possible with them.
In addition to her husband, Paul, Lori is survived by her two daughters, Ashley (Dylan) Little-Lyon of Adrian, MI, and Amanda (Jesse) Niedermeyer of Westland, MI; her four grandchildren, Savannah and Brooklyn Little-Lyon, and Paisley and Taylor Niedermeyer; and her three brothers, Roger (Laurie) Wortman of Howell, MI, Melford (Terri) Wortman of Highland, MI, and Jeff (Barb) Blascoe of Fenton, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Michelle Blascoe.
At her request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life for Lori will be held at the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes at 5:00 pm on Saturday, November 29, 2025. Visitation at the funeral home will begin at 3:00 pm and continue until the Celebration of Life. Memorial contributions in Lori’s honor may be made to the Michigan Lupus Foundation.
