
Cory Jay Robison, age 50, of Tecumseh, MI, passed away at his home on Saturday, November 15, 2025. He was born on July 3, 1975, in Tecumseh, MI, the son of Eric Francis and Sharen Louise (Mann) Robison. He was joined in marriage with Shannon Diane Johns, and she survives. After graduating high school, Cory began his work career with Ford Motor Company, where he worked for thirty years. He was a Hi Lo Driver and he transitioned through three locations, beginning with Rawsonville, then Saline, and finally the Ford Dearborn plant.
Cory was a member of the Sons of the American Legion as well as the UAW Local 600 in Dearborn. He had a wide variety of interests outside of his job. Cory loved RC cars, he was an avid hunter and fisherman, he spent time metal detecting, and he collected and enjoyed shooting guns. He especially looked forward to spending time outside and sitting around a bonfire.
In addition to his wife Shannon, Cory is survived by his two sons, Tyler and Micah Robison, both of Tecumseh, MI; his two stepchildren, Ashley Johns and Ma’ciah Clay, both of Tecumseh, MI; two grandchildren, Amiyahlynn Fox and Owen Robison; his father Eric; two sisters, Martie Pape of Centerville, TN, and Erika (Joe) Cherney of Pinckney, MI; his aunt, Jan Henderson, of Tecumseh, MI; and several nieces and nephews.
Cory was preceded in death by his mother, Sharen; his grandparents, Ellsworth and Donalda Robison; Grampa Mann and Grandma Choo Choo; and a very good friend, Dave Marty.
According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life honoring Cory will be held at 5:00 pm on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes, with Rev. William Lass officiating. Visitation at the funeral home will take place preceding the celebration beginning at 3:00 pm. Cory’s final resting place will be at the Ridgeway Cemetery in Tecumseh,
