MONROE — The River Raisin Centre for the Arts in Monroe is inviting families to enjoy a special holiday movie night this weekend featuring Elf, starring Will Ferrell.
The theatre is transforming into a winter-themed setting ahead of the screening and is seeking volunteers to help decorate and donate concession items. Those who assist will receive two free tickets to the show.
The movie will be shown at 114 South Monroe Street in downtown Monroe, Michigan.
Organizers suggest donating hot cocoa bar supplies or packaged snacks, and say handmade paper snowflakes and white paper chains are also appreciated.
