ADRIAN — Downtown Adrian is preparing for Small Business Saturday on November 29, and local businesses are being encouraged to take part in the annual shopping event.
Adrian Main Street says participation forms have already been sent to downtown retailers, and promotional materials will be shared across social media to help boost local turnout. The national shopping day is intended to support independently owned businesses heading into the holiday season.
Event coordinators reported that businesses will be able to highlight sales, extended hours, and special offerings throughout the day. Main Street staff will also be promoting the event communitywide to encourage residents to shop locally.
Small Business Saturday takes place the weekend after Thanksgiving and is recognized nationwide as a key driver for small business revenue.
