ADRIAN — The Adrian Symphony Orchestra says this year’s Auction and Gala was an overwhelming success.

Held Friday night at the Adrian Tobias Center at Adrian College, the annual event surpassed expectations, raising more than $80,000 to support the Symphony’s music and education programs across Lenawee County and Southeast Michigan.

Organizers had originally set a $70,000 goal, but thanks to strong community participation, including volunteers, donors, staff, and attendees both in person and online, the total exceeded that mark by more than $10,000.

The evening featured dinner, live and silent auctions, live music, a cash bar, and a reverse raffle with a $1,500 grand prize.

From all members of the Adrian Symphony Orchestra, officials extended their thanks to the community for helping keep the music alive.
