
TECUMSEH — The Tecumseh District Library has received a $10,000 grant from the Carnegie Corporation of New York to support local programming and community initiatives.
Library officials say the award recognizes Tecumseh’s continued commitment to education and public engagement.
Several events are planned in the weeks ahead, including a Veterans Day diamond art craft on November 11, and building improvement focus groups on November 15 and 18.
Teens can take part in a shoulder pets craft on November 25, and a new all-ages board game club launches November 30.
An author signing with local writer Michelle Crandall is set for December 2 at 6:30 p.m., followed by a Bluey birthday party for children on December 6.
The library’s annual “Table of Contents” fundraiser luncheon takes place this Sunday, November 9, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church.
