LANSING — State Senator Joe Bellino has introduced a bipartisan package of bills to regulate the sale of vaping and tobacco products in Michigan.
Bellino says he partnered with Senator Sam Singh on the effort to license all retailers who sell tobacco and vape products.
Committee hearings on the bills began Thursday in Lansing, featuring testimony from small business owners, major retailers, and public health advocates.
Bellino says the goal is to curb youth vaping and strengthen enforcement by ensuring only compliant sellers remain licensed.
