LENAWEE CO. — WLEN News is tracking results across Lenawee County as votes are counted in the November 4 municipal elections.

Polls closed at 8 p.m. Tuesday, and unofficial results are being posted by the Lenawee County Clerk’s Office throughout the evening. Races include city commission and mayoral contests in Adrian, city council seats in Tecumseh and Morenci, and one council seat in Hudson.

In Adrian, voters are choosing up to three candidates for city commission and deciding whether to repeal the city’s Point of Sale Ordinance. The ballot also includes a renewal of the Citizens Gas Fuel Company franchise agreement.

Tecumseh residents are selecting three City Council members and voting on adoption of the proposed 2025 City Charter. Morenci voters will choose a mayor and three council members, while Hudson’s ballot lists one council candidate for a three-year term.

Mayor: Angie Sword Heath – 2,607 votes

City Commission (vote for not more than 3):

  • Gordon D. Gauss – 987 votes
  • Douglas Miller – 1159 votes
  • Chip Moore – 1318 votes
  • Aaron J. Chesher – 1931 votes
  • James B. Trull – 1251 votes
  • Tiffany Sieler-Zych – 2575 votes

Franchise Agreement: Citizens Gas Fuel Company – Approve 2,609 / Reject 535

Tecumseh

City Council (vote for not more than 3):

  • Gary Naugle – 1,093 votes
  • Mark Raine – 655 votes
  • Vicki Riddle – 1,176 votes
  • Joseph Tuckey – 1,239 votes

Morenci

Mayor (2-year term): Tracy L. Schell – 283 votes
