Recall: Golden Island pork jerky — DO NOT EAT

LENAWEE CO. — LSI, Inc. is recalling about 2.28 million pounds of ready-to-eat Korean barbecue pork jerky because it may contain small pieces of metal.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced the recall on October 24, 2025.

Check your pantry for 14.5-ounce or 16-ounce bags labeled “GOLDEN ISLAND fire-grilled PORK JERKY Korean BARBECUE recipe.” Look for “M279A” inside the USDA mark of inspection and “best by” dates from October 23, 2025, through September 23, 2026. The product was sold at Costco and Sam’s Club nationwide.

Do not eat this jerky. Throw it away or return it to the store.
