RIGA — Lenawee County Commissioner Kevon Martis hosted a roundtable discussion with special guest County Administrator Kim Murphy in Riga Township on Thursday.
Murphy and Martis answered questions from Riga residents regarding ongoing county projects such as the renovation of the Rex B. Martin Judicial Building and the Opioid Settlement Funding proposals.
One resident asked if Riga could see an increase in police presence, considering that the township does not have its own police department despite how close it is to the Michigan-Ohio border.
