LENAWEE CO. — Two “No Kings” demonstrations are planned locally this Saturday as part of a nationwide day of action.
The rally will take place at Comstock Park in Adrian from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is part of the No Kings movement, a series of peaceful demonstrations held across the country to promote democracy and oppose authoritarianism.
Organizers say attendees are encouraged to bring signs and participate respectfully.
We also received word that a separate “No Kings” gathering will be held in Tecumseh the same day. That demonstration will take place at City Hall from 12 noon until 3 p.m.
Both events are open to the public and are expected to draw community members from across Lenawee County.
