ADRIAN — Lenawee County will light the Old County Courthouse dome green from November 4th through the 11th in honor of Veterans Day.
The initiative, called Operation Green Light, is a nationwide campaign led by the National Association of Counties to recognize and support military veterans.
County Administrator Kim Murphy said the effort is a simple but powerful way to show gratitude for those who have served and to highlight the programs that support them.
Now in its fourth year, Operation Green Light encourages residents, businesses, and organizations to take part by replacing one light bulb—inside or outside—with a green bulb.
By shining a green light, the county hopes to send a message that local veterans are seen, valued, and supported.
