Jane Alys Clark, age 82 of Adrian, went to be with the Lord on October 3, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family at the Hospice of Lenawee Home.

Jane was born on November 20, 1942, in Mt. Clemens, MI, the middle child of Kenneth and Laura (Fletcher) Rasmussen. She graduated from Richmond High School with the Class of 1960 and later received her master’s degree from Eastern Michigan University. Jane married William “Pete” Clark on July 16, 1966, in Richmond, Michigan and he survives her.

Jane was an active member at Grace Point Evangelical Free Church and volunteered at the Christian Mission. Jane was a very creative and artistic person who enjoyed writing, including her own poetry, and craft making. Her creativity also was displayed through her flower garden and landscaping talents. Jane was also architecturally gifted, helping to design the Christian Mission in Adrian and designed the sunroom in her own home. Jane was a devoted wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She made special efforts to plan specially themed events and parties for her grandchildren.

Jane is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, William “Pete” Clark; children, Jeffrey (Shannon) Clark and Sara (Les) Traxler; brother, Douglas (Ande) Rasmussen of Holland, Michigan and nephews, Michael Rasmussen and Mark (Stephanie) Rasmussen and their son, Reid; 3 grandchildren, Kirsten (Michael) Nowak, Nathan Traxler and Evan (Shanti) Traxler; 2 great granddaughters, Molly and Laney Nowak; sister-in-law, Eva Rasmussen of Vienna, Austria, and nephew, Thomas Edward Rasmussen of Munich, Germany; sister-in-law, Marion Gunderson and nephew, Tim (Vivian) Dawson and their daughter, Zoe. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Kenneth Edward Rasmussen.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 2-8:00 p.m. at Wagley Funeral Home, Adrian. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Grace Point Evangelical Free Church, with Pastor Jeff Tyson officiating. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to her funeral service. Burial to follow at Lenawee Hills Memorial Park, Adrian.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Christian Mission or Grace Point Free Evangelical Church.
