Kellie Lynn Gautz, of Adrian, died unexpectedly Friday, October 3, 2025, one day before her 39th birthday, the result of a tragic automobile accident. She was born October 4, 1986, in Adrian, the daughter of Conrad and Deborah (Dunbar) Gautz.
Kellie was a 2004 graduate of Sand Creek Community Schools, where she played volleyball and was involved in 4H showing goats. She worked at the TSC store in Adrian for several years before more recently managing the Pet Supplies Plus store. She loved the outdoors, and one of her favorite pastimes was fishing. Kellie had an outgoing and likeable personality, whose presence will be sorely missed.
Surviving to mourn her sudden loss is her father, Conrad “CJ” Gautz; her son, Conrad Paul Crandall; brother, Kurt (Katie) Gautz of Adrian; her maternal grandparents, Mina Dunbar of Blissfield and Richard (Valerie) Dunbar of Adrian; niece, Emma; nephews, Otto, John and Charlie; and several aunts, uncles, and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her mother, Debbie Gautz; and paternal grandparents, John and Lois Gautz.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering will be held at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home in Adrian on Friday, October 24, 2025, beginning at 3:00 p.m. and concluding with a memorial service at 5:00 p.m. Rev. Rick Strawcutter will officiate.
Memorial contributions in honor of Kellie are suggested to support a savings account for her young son, Conrad, and can be given through the Tribute Fund on Kellie’s obituary page. Arrangements have been made with the guidance of the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian.
