JACKSON — The Jackson Downtown Development Authority is teaming up with the Central Michigan Paranormal Investigators for a haunted fundraiser this October.
The event will take place inside the Commercial Exchange Building, a historic landmark built by William “Cap” Sparks, the same man who created the Cascades waterfalls in Jackson. The building has served as a factory, survived fires, and has long been tied to stories about the Underground Railroad.
Paranormal investigators will guide guests through the building on Friday and Saturday nights, October 10 through 25. Each tour lasts about two hours and will feature advanced ghost-hunting tools.
Proceeds will support the Downtown Development Authority’s work to preserve history and keep Jackson’s downtown vibrant.
