
Kimberlee was born on September 4, 1974, in Adrian, MI, the second of Melvin M. and Mary Kay (Staup) Demlow’s four children. She attended Onsted Community Schools and graduated with the Class of 1992.
Kimberlee went on to become a medical assistant taking courses at Ross and Jackson Community College; later on, she changed career paths and became a mail carrier with the United States Postal Service. Kimberlee had a zest for life, and it showed in everything she did whether it was her singing for no particular reason or her ability to make others happy, you felt her presence. She treasured her time baking in the kitchen and was known for the delicious birthday cakes she made for everyone dear to her. Some of her favorite treats included peanut butter, chocolate and raspberries. Kimberlee was artistic and loved to create through coloring. She had many fond memories from traveling and camping at Robbers Roost. Kimberlee was a former member of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church. She was a wonderful daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, who always put the happiness of others first.
Kimberlee will be missed by many, including her children, Chantel (Chris) Rolston and their children Carson and Caylin, Amber Pierson and her children Tyler and Matthew Elkins, Zack Clore, Brooke Pierson (Aric Tittle) and their children Damian Johnson and Harper Tittle, Dustin Pierson, Jullian Whitehead (Rachel Allen) and their son Ronan Whitehead, Noah Pierson and Brianna Pierson; her parents Melvin and Kay Demlow; fiancé, James Whitehead; maternal grandmother, June Staup; siblings, Lindy (Juan) Hernandez, Martin (Becky) Demlow and Kellie Demlow; and her beloved canine companion, Willie; along with aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Wilbur and Luella Demlow and maternal grandfather, Dicky Lee Staup.
Visitation for Kimberlee will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Wagley Funeral Home, Adrian. Funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. with Pastor Paul Herter officiating. Burial will follow at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.
