Surrounded by loved ones, comforting him, and those who loved him held him in his last moments here on earth. The family requested that his closest friends be mentioned as well, in Bishop Robert Benard, Bob McNett, and Gilbert Gonzales. Orville lived a life of dedication in various aspects of life. He was a dedicated employee of Brazeway in Adrian, MI, retiring after 28 years of hard work. Orville was a dedicated man of God, having accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior on December 23rd, 1977. From being made new in Christ, he was dedicated to his ministry serving as a Deacon with the local body of Christ Temple Ministries for 47 years. Those who know Orville know he leaves behind a legacy of forgiveness, service, and dedication to the Lord. His life has impacted many, whether we know him as Dad, Grandpa, Brother, or Deacon. Those who know and love him rest in knowing that while we grieve here, Orville Rodgers Stover is more alive now than he ever was.
Rest well, Orville, and Carry On. “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31
