MACOMB CO. — A Macomb County man has won half a million dollars playing the Michigan Lottery’s Spectacular Wild Time instant game.
The 69-year-old player, who chose to stay anonymous, bought his winning $5 ticket at Little Mack Beer & Wine in Saint Clair Shores.
He said he normally played $2 tickets but recently switched to $5 games, a decision that paid off.
The winner recently claimed his prize at Lottery headquarters. He plans to use the money to retire and enjoy time with his family.
