
TECUMSEH — The City of Tecumseh honored local historian Bob Elliott, ahead of his receiving the Musgrove Evans Award.
Mayor Brian Radant mentioned several of Elliott’s accomplishments in his proclamation, which he read at the start of Monday’s City Council meeting.
Elliott has led many guided tours of Brookside Cemetery during his 35 years living in Tecumseh, and his book “Tecumseh’s Hometown Heroes” was published in 2023.

According to Downtown Tecumseh, The Musgrove Evans Award recognizes individuals, quote, “whose efforts have contributed to the quality of life in our community and made Tecumseh a better place in which to live.” unquote.
The Musgrove Evans award ceremony honoring Elliott will be held at the Ashlar on Wednesday, September 24th.
Doors open at 5:30pm and the program starts at 6:00pm.
