MORENCI — The United Way of Monroe/Lenawee Counties is hosting its annual DAY of ACTION today from 9 am – 4 pm and Saturday, September 13th from 9 am – 2 pm. This event is in conjunction with Habitat for Humanity’s ROCK the BLOCK neighborhood revitalization event. The United Way will provide a light continental breakfast to kick off the day’s events at 9:00 AM at the Stephenson Park in Morenci.
Local projects are scheduled with Habitat for Humanity of Lenawee County’s ROCK THE BLOCK event in Morenci. Over 15 volunteers are joining in the effort to make a difference in the Morenci area. Volunteers from area businesses will join the over 20 volunteers already a part of the ROCK the BLOCK neighborhood revitalization activities today thru- Saturday.
