ADRIAN — The Adrian Police Department Pistol Team has once again brought home top honors.

On September 11, the team competed in the 87th Michigan Police Pistol Match in Jackson, also called the Governor’s Cup. Officers from across the state took part in the contest.

Adrian’s Team 1 earned 1st Place in Class C, while Team 2 secured 3rd Place. This victory continues a winning streak, as Adrian’s pistol team has now placed first for ten years in a row.

The competition is one of the oldest and most respected law enforcement shooting contests in Michigan.

The Adrian Police Department says the tradition of strong results reflects years of training and teamwork.
