ADRIAN — Habitat for Humanity of Lenawee County has been named Innovative Nonprofit of the Year in the 2025 Raise Awards.
The award was given during the Raise 2025 conference, hosted by OneCause, a national fundraising technology group. Habitat Lenawee stood out for new ideas that bring the community together and raise support for families.
The nonprofit was honored for its work with the City of Adrian to launch the county’s first charity pickleball tournament. The event raised money and also introduced new people to Habitat’s mission of building safe and affordable homes.
The award was chosen by a panel of nonprofit experts who reviewed groups from across the country.
Habitat leaders said the award reflects the strong support of volunteers, sponsors, and local partners.
Since 1989, Habitat Lenawee has helped more than 100 families with housing and completed over 70 home repairs in 2025 alone.
