ADRIAN — Health Check is coming to Adrian this fall.
The United Way of Monroe and Lenawee Counties, along with ProMedica Charles and Virginia Hickman Hospital and the Family Medical Center, are hosting the event on Thursday, October 9th.
It will take place from 8 a.m. to noon at the First United Methodist Church, located at 1245 West Maple Avenue in Adrian.
The Health Check offers low-cost tests, including a 22-panel blood test for $20, vitamin D for $10, and an A1C diabetes test for $15. Free services include blood pressure checks, nutrition counseling, and medication counseling. Vaccines may also be available.
A 12-hour fast is suggested before blood work. No appointment is needed, just walk in.
There will also be a free, safe medication disposal site on location.
