MONROE — The Monroe County Museum System will host the 2025 Spirit of Service Awards on Wednesday, September 10.
The event will be held at Territorial Park on the River Raisin, from 5 to 7 p.m. Visitors can enjoy live music and light refreshments at the threshing barn before the award ceremony by the garden.
This year’s honorees include Loretta Dunham, the Monroe News, Ida Backyard History, and Lynn Reaume. Each is being recognized for important service to local history.
Parking is available at the Papermill School lot, with an overflow lot at the east entrance on North Custer Road.
