Fall Health Check Offers Free and Low-Cost Screenings

ADRIAN — The 2025 Fall Health Check is coming soon. Free and low-cost screenings will be offered on Thursday, October 9, from 8 a.m. to noon at First United Methodist Church, 1245 West Maple in Adrian.

Available tests include a 22-point blood panel for $20, a vitamin D screen for $10, and a hemoglobin A1C test for $15. Other services include adult immunizations, blood pressure checks, and nutrition and medication counseling.

Organizers say people should not eat or drink for 12 hours before their test, but medicines can be taken with water. All testing is subject to availability.

The event is presented by ProMedica Charles and Virginia Hickman Hospital and the United Way of Monroe/Lenawee Counties.
