BLISSFIELD — Blissfield Community Schools say students and staff will return to class tomorrow, Wednesday, Aug. 27, as planned.
Superintendent Scott Riley says all areas of the high school have been tested and cleared safe after an air quality review. The gymnasium remains closed while cleaning and testing continue, but classrooms and hallways are open.
The district brought in a professional disaster service and an environmental testing group to make sure the building is safe. Results showed no harmful substances in any areas outside the gym.
Riley says the district is ready to welcome students back and that the gym will reopen only after final testing is complete.
