ADRIAN — The Michigan Department of Transportation says work on M-52 through Adrian is moving forward.
Crews have been resurfacing Main Street, fixing joints, and adding sidewalks that meet federal accessibility rules.
The current closure runs from Broad Street to Front Street and is expected to last until Friday, August 29. Drivers are being sent on detours using Winter and Maple streets.
MDOT Media Representative Aaron Jenkins said the project is on schedule in an email, saying, “We are trending to be complete by mid to late September.”
This means drivers can expect some lane closures and detours to continue for the next few weeks.
