RIGA TWP. — The Blissfield Village Council has approved a new water service agreement with Riga Township.
The agreement puts all past amendments into one clean document. It also updates the fee schedule so rates match the new water prices set by the village.
Village leaders said this change makes the contract easier to follow and keeps service costs fair for both Riga Township and Blissfield.
The updated agreement was reviewed by Riga Township before the vote.
The measure passed Monday night and takes effect right away.
