BROOKLYN — Race fans can mark their calendars — NASCAR is returning to Michigan International Speedway next summer.
The track in Brooklyn says it will host two big races the weekend of June 6 and 7, 2026.
The NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series will race on Saturday. The NASCAR Cup Series returns Sunday with the FireKeepers Casino 400.
Track President Joe Fowler says winning at MIS means more because of the region’s deep auto history. He says fans fill the stands and campgrounds yearly to watch top drivers compete.
MIS is the largest campground in Michigan, with nearly 9,000 campsites.
