ADRIAN — The Adrian District Library is making changes to their participation in the annual Artalicious celebration.
This year’s Artalicious activities will be held inside the library instead of under a tent. According to Library Officials, the shift comes after receiving less grant funding, but activities will continue indoors. Staff also noted the change will help reduce costs and make scheduling easier.
The library reported strong attendance at its foam party earlier this summer, with more than 120 children and families joining. Planning is already underway for next summer’s programs, which will feature a dinosaur theme with activities led by a paleontologist.
Other upcoming events include the Living Library program on September 27, where guests can check out speakers for small group conversations.
Library staff said they are focused on keeping events engaging for all ages while balancing budgets and staffing needs.
