ADRIAN — Police say an arrest has been made in the hit-and-run that seriously injured a local teen last year in Adrian.
The crash happened in August 2024 at the corner of Clinton and Chestnut. Dakota Courington was riding a bicycle when a vehicle struck him and drove away.
Investigators say the suspect has now been arrested. Police have not yet released the person’s name.
The suspect is expected to be arraigned tomorrow in Lenawee County Circuit Court in downtown Adrian.
The teen remains in recovery at a hospital after months of medical treatment.
