TECUMESH — The Tecumseh City Council has approved a special event for this fall.
The Kelly Carter and Thomas Leffler Memorial Scholarship Run will move forward after council gave it the green light at their Monday meeting.
The 5K run raises money for local student scholarships and is a returning event in the community.
The approved application includes the race route and city services needed for safety.
The event is now officially scheduled and will be part of the city’s fall calendar.
