ADRIAN — Drivers in Adrian should expect more road work this week. The Michigan Department of Transportation is continuing its resurfacing project on M-52, from Beecher Street to Siena Heights Drive.
The paving work at the busy intersection of U.S. 223 and M-52 was supposed to happen on Sunday, August 17. That work has been delayed, and a new date has not been set yet.
Another part of the project will close lanes at the intersection of U.S. 223 and U.S. 223 Business Route, also known as Maumee Street. That work is planned for Tuesday, August 19, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Drivers should expect traffic delays in these areas and are asked to be patient and careful. Please follow all signs and use extra caution when driving through construction zones.
