Marjorie Jane Fetsko – Adrian

Marjorie “Marge” Jane Fetsko, age 85, of Adrian, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at the Hospice of Lenawee Home with the love and support of her family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Marge was born on December 28, 1939, in Tecumseh, MI, she was one of William and Gladys (Dawson) Mitchell’s six children.  Marge attended Blissfield Community Schools and graduated with the Class of 1959.

On July 15, 1966, Marge was united in marriage to William M. Fetsko in Palmyra, MI.  Together they raised three daughters and became loving grandparents to three wonderful grandchildren. Marge and Bill were married for almost 52 years before his death in 2018.

Marge’s loving and nurturing personality was an excellent fit for being a care worker at group homes and then was employed with Hope Network before retiring.  After she retired, she continued caring for others by serving as a volunteer for the Department of Aging where she drove people to their doctor appointments.  She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

She will be missed by her daughters, Pauline Dailly of Garner, NC, Pamela (Victor) Koons of Adrian, and Gina (Tim) Kavanagh of Apex, NC; grandchildren, April Dailly, Meghan and Patrick Kavanagh; along with several in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. Marge was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bill; and siblings, Don Mitchell, Mildred Oosse, Marie Rathbun, Doris Luce and Ken Mitchell.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 4-7:00 p.m. at Wagley Funeral Home, Adrian.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 22, at 2:00 p.m. at Wagley Funeral Home, Adrian with Pastor Larry Betz officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. Cremation will follow funeral services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lenawee or to the family for a future designation.
