
ADRIAN — The Lenawee County Board of Commissioners has approved naming the Sheriff’s Office building after former longtime sheriff Richard L. Germond.
Commissioners voted to officially name the facility the Richard L. Germond Building, honoring his years of service to the county and the community. Germond served as Lenawee County Sheriff for multiple terms, leading the department through significant changes and growth.
The naming is meant to recognize his dedication to public safety and his impact on law enforcement in the region.
