Tina Marie Buehler, age 61, of Jackson, MI, passed away unexpectedly on August 6, 2025. She was born in Racine, WI, on March 2, 1964, the daughter of Oliver Whitaker and Sandra June (Cady) LeBaron.
Tina worked at the Adrian Daily Telegram for ten years and then as an assistant manager at the Perky Pantry in Tecumseh, MI. She dearly loved her horses, dogs, and cats, and she especially enjoyed traveling with her husband.
In addition to her husband, Tim, Tina is survived by her mother, Sandra; son, Jeffrey Burgett of Roscommon, MI; her daughter, Crystal (Cody) Abbott of Hudson, MI; and her step-children, Amanda and Ben Buehler, both of Jackson, MI; five grandchildren, Christopher, Brianna, Aiden, Dylan and Elissa; and her siblings, Tracy (Rick) Proffitt of Adrian, MI and Thomas (Joel) Whitaker of Napoleon, MI; and three dogs and six cats.
Tina was preceded in death by her father, Oliver, and her grandmother, Rosella “Bonnie” Godin.
Visitation for Tina will be held at the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes on Monday, August 11, 2025 from 3:00 – 5:00 pm and also from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Memorial contributions in Tina’s honor may be made to the family via GoFundMe.
