TECUMSEH — The former Herrick Hospital campus in Tecumseh is in the midst of a major renovation.
An ongoing $3 million project to rehabilitate the property, which is located at 500 East Pottawatamie Street and most recently housed the Neighbors of Hope Women’s and Children’s Ministry Center, is expected to bring 100 jobs to the community.
The building was purchased in July 2023 with the intent to convert it into a behavioral health solutions center.
On Monday, the Tecumseh City Council voted to approve a 10-year tax abatement for the property.
