MONROE TWP. — Monroe County deputies arrested a woman Tuesday for allegedly walking through an apartment parking lot with a pistol while yelling threats.
The call came in around noon from residents at Greenwycke Crossings Apartments on South Dixie Highway in Monroe Township. Deputies arrived within minutes and took the suspect into custody without incident. A semi-automatic pistol was found on her at the time of arrest.
The 37-year-old Monroe resident is being held at the Monroe County Jail and faces multiple charges, including a felony for carrying a concealed weapon.
Her name has not been released.
The case remains under investigation by Deputy Brandon Benes with the Uniform Services Division. Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff’s office.
