ADRIAN — Lenawee County Airport has passed its latest state inspection without receiving a provisional license, making it the only one of 11 airports inspected this cycle to do so.
The General Utility Licensing Compliance Inspection took place on June 3rd. Inspectors noted only minor recommendations, all of which have already been addressed by staff.
Avoiding provisional status means federal funding remains uninterrupted and reflects the airport’s commitment to strong maintenance and safety standards.
